LET'S GET STARTED

Before you begin, make sure that you have:

Your credentials or the activation code for a new meeting room.
- Zoom Rooms, MS Teams, or Ringcentral are currently supported
A wall-mount or cart that supports the VESA pattern and weight associated with your CollabTouch Avocor display solution.
- Our Mounting Solutions article should have all of the information you need for this, including recommend mounts, guidelines, and relevant specs for your chosen display solution.

Now, unpack the Logitech Rally Bar, Logitech TV Mount for Video Bars, and the CollabTouch accessory kit from the Avocor Accessory box.

Unclip and remove the top of the Avocor Interactive Display box, and peel down the plastic covers so that the top, back, and side-access connection panels are accessible. Leave the display here, secured in the bottom tray of the carton, while assembling and connecting the CollabTouch components.

SETUP & CONFIGURATION

INSTALL THE POWER ADAPTER PLATE

The installation of the power adapter plate may differ depending on the model and size of Avocor display in your kit. Please refer to the correct section below when installing the kit.

AVE-30 SERIES

AVE-5530

Install the backpack PC VESA mounting plate that came with your Avocor display (screws included with the kit).
Install the power adapter plate onto the backpack PC mount using the screws labeled for the AVE series in the CollabTouch kit.

AVE-6530

Install the adapter plate directly to the back of the unit, where the backpack PC VESA plate would normally go, using the screws labeled for the AVE series in the CollabTouch kit.

AVE-7530

Install the adapter plate directly to the back of the unit, where the backpack PC VESA plate would normally go, using the screws labeled for the AVE series in the CollabTouch kit.

AVE-8630

Install the adapter plate directly to the back of the unit, where the backpack PC VESA plate would normally go, using the screws labeled for the AVE series in the CollabTouch kit.

AVE-40 SERIES

AVE-5540

Install the backpack PC VESA mounting plate that came with your Avocor display (screws included with the kit).
Install the power adapter plate onto the backpack PC mount using the screws labeled for the AVE series in the CollabTouch kit.

AVE-6540, AVE-7540, AVE-8640

Install the backpack PC VESA mounting plate that came with your Avocor display (screws included with the kit).
Install the power adapter plate onto the backpack PC mount using the screws labeled for the AVE series in the CollabTouch kit.

AVG-60 SERIES

Install the adapter plate directly to the backpack PC VESA pattern on the back of the display.

MOUNT THE LOGITECH TV MOUNT FOR VIDEO BARS TO THE DISPLAY

Please follow the instructions provided in the Logitech TV Mount for Video Bars Setup Guide to properly attach your TV mount to the VESA pattern of the Avocor display, at this time.

NOTE: it is not recommended to mount the Logitech Rally Bar to the display at this time; to ensure component integrity and personal safety, it's best to mount the Rally Bar after you have mounted the Avocor display to your preferred solution.

CONNECT AND ROUTE THE CUSTOM VIDEO/TOUCH/ETHERNET CABLE

Your CollabTouch kit includes a custom cable for video, touch, and ethernet for easy connectivity to your Avocor display. Additionally, we included adhesive anchors and zip-ties for optimal cable routing.

NOTE: if you are mounting your Avocor display to a wall, enclosure, or other solution where the back panel will not be easily accessible, it's best to complete the cable routing step prior to mounting the display.
- Ensure you leave enough cable length at the top so that the cable connectors can properly seat into the Rally Bar*.
  - *DISMOUNT THE RALLY BAR FROM THE LOGITECH TV MOUNT PRIOR TO LIFTING AND HANDLING THE AVOCOR DISPLAY TO PREVENT COMPONENT DAMAGE.
Please consider your mounting choice when routing your custom video/touch/ethernet cable. You'll generally want to try to keep the cable clear of the VESA mounting pattern on the display to ensure that the cable does not get damaged by your mounting gear upon installation.
For the AVE-6530, AVE-7530, and AVE-8630 displays, you'll need to connect the provided USB Type-B to Type-A adapter to the USB Type-B end of the custom cable.

MOUNT THE AVOCOR DISPLAY & RALLY BAR

After you have completed the prior steps and are ready to mount your display, please follow the below steps in order to ensure personal safety and prevent potential damage to components.

Mount the Avocor display
- Please follow the mounting solution manufacturer's instructions to ensure personal and component safety.
- You can reference our Mounting Solutions article for recommended mounting solutions and relevant display specs.
Mount the Rally Bar to the Logitech TV Mount
- Please follow the instructions in the Logitech TV Mount for Video Bars Setup Guide (starting page 8) to mount and secure your Logitech Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini to the TV Mount
Complete the custom video/touch/ethernet cable connection to the Rally Bar.
- If you did not route and anchor the cable with tie-offs prior to mounting your display, complete this step here.

POWER ON THE DISPLAY AND RALLY BAR

Now that you're system is mounted and secured, you're ready to power on!

The Avocor display will have both an A/C rocker switch for "hard power" control, and a power button for "soft power" control. You'll generally have to flip on the A/C rocker switch once, and then control your display's power via the Avocor remote control or front panel power button.

The Logitech Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini's power button is located on the back of the unit. Please reference the Logitech Rally Bar QSG for further setup instruction.
