What are the minimum PC requirements that support 5K (5820x2160) resolution?
Here are the PC specs
Processor: Intel Core™ i7-1255U / AMD Ryzen 7 5825U or better
RAM: 8 GB
Graphics: Intel Iris Xe Graphics / RX 550 GPU from AMD / Nvidia GTX 1060 or better
Output: 1 DP
How do I connect a source device to the L-series display?
For starters, you'll need an HDMI or DisplayPort cable. We recommend cables rated for HDMI 2.1 or higher, or DisplayPort 1.4 or higher for the best possible video quality, especially if you want to run at 5K@60Hz.
The following display inputs support 5K@60Hz:
- HDMI1
- DisplayPort
- OPS (with Avocor Gen 12 OPS - COMING SOON)
The USB-C, HDMI2, HDMI3, & HDMI4 - upport up to 3440x1440@60Hz.
How does the HDMI Out work?
The HDMI Out will mirror the picture of an active L-series display to a connected external monitor.
Here are some additional facts about the L-series HDMI Out:
- Always outputs to 21:9 aspect ratio, so the best results are seen when connected to an ultrawide 21:9 monitor, up to 3440x1440 resolution.
- When connected to a 16:9 external monitor, the 21:9 image will adjust to a letterboxed, widescreen format up to 3840x2160 (4K) resolution.
MTR’s - Windows IoT vs Android
- Windows 10 IoT (Lenovo, HP, Crestron MTR’s) - Microsoft recommends running 2560x1080 resolution, however, some hardware can run Teams Front Row at resolutions of 3440x1440 or 5120x2160 (5K).
- Android - 21:9 aspect ratios are not yet supported.
