The introduction of firmware 1.1.9 brings an important fix for MTR users: the Display Sleep Timer will now begin counting down ONLY when the signal from a source device is no longer active. With that, and the recent implementation of HDMI CEC control in version 1.1.7, some users may be looking to change their display settings to better suit a use case that puts the CEC-enabled MTR device in control of the system. Good news: we've done the leg-work for you! The following configuration is a great baseline to get a seamless, MTR controlled display sleep/wake experience.
Optimal System Connection
Connect your MTR to HDMI 1 for the preferred experience. Include a USB-A to USB-B connection to touch port 1, if you have an AVL-1050-T model.
