AVE-xx10 Firmware Installation Instructions

This article explains how to install firmware for your Avocor AVE-xx10/AVE-xx30 Gen 1 display.

IMPORTANT

DO NOT INSTALL THE FIRMWARES FOUND IN THIS SECTION ON YOUR AVE-xx30-A SERIES DISPLAYS.

Installation Guide

  1. Download the MS828Upgrade.bin firmware file according to your display size and save to a USB flash drive.
  2. Insert the flash drive into the USB 2.0 Public input on the side panel of the displaymceclip0.png
  3. Power off the display using the power button on the remote control or front panel keypad.
  4. Once powered off, press and hold the power button on the front panel keypad until the button starts flashing. The firmware will be installed automatically.mceclip1.png
  5. The display will restart automatically when the update is finished.

NOTE: DO NOT TOUCH THE POWER BUTTONS OR POWER AC SWITCH UNTIL THE UPDATE IS FINISHED.
